Boomerang Blitz

 Boomerang Blitz  is an exhilarating augmented reality (AR) game developed using Unity and ARCore, where players are tasked with defending themselves against waves of dragons that soar through the air. As dragons approach, the player must skillfully throw a boomerang to strike them down. The game is designed as an infinite survival challenge, with a high score system that pushes players to improve their skills and achieve the highest score possible.

 Role and Responsibilities: 

1.  Game Design: 

   - Conceptualizing the core gameplay, focusing on the dynamic interaction between the player, the boomerang, and the approaching dragons.

   - Designing the infinite wave system, where the difficulty increases over time as more dragons appear and their speed increases.

2. Unity Integration: 

   - Implementing ARCore to create an immersive AR experience where dragons are anchored in the real world, flying towards the player from various angles.

   - Integrating Unity’s physics and input systems to simulate realistic boomerang throwing mechanics, ensuring that the player's throws feel natural and responsive.

3.  Programming: 

   - Writing scripts to manage dragon movement, spawning, and interactions with the player's boomerang.

   - Developing the high score system that tracks the player’s performance and encourages replayability by allowing them to beat their previous scores.

4.  AR Implementation: 

   - Utilizing ARCore to ensure that dragons appear realistically in the player's environment, creating a sense of urgency and immersion as they fly closer.

   - Implementing boomerang physics so that it returns to the player after being thrown, adding an extra layer of challenge and strategy.

5.  Testing and Debugging: 

   - Conducting extensive testing to ensure smooth performance across different devices and AR environments, optimizing the game for various real-world settings.

   - Iterating on the game mechanics based on testing feedback, fine-tuning the difficulty curve, and ensuring the gameplay remains engaging and challenging.
